Simone Susskind

Simone Susskind is the founder of Actions in the Mediterranean and a former member of the Belgian Senate (2017-19) and of the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region. She works on conflict resolution and human rights through building bridges and bringing together people from across the Mediterranean: among her initiatives are training women candidates for the first democratic municipal elections in Tunisia and bringing together high school students to deepen their understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
