Ola Myrovych has led Lviv Media Forum, a Ukrainian organisation supporting independent media, since 2021, having joined in 2018 as Development Director. Under Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Lviv Media Forum combines multifaceted emergency support for journalists with long-term media development and international exchange, and convenes the annual LMF conference, which brings together journalists and communicators from all over the world. Her work in the sector spans more than a decade: at the UCU School of Journalism in Lviv (2014–2018) she ran the Centre for Media Excellence, and since 2016 she has advised and evaluated media-sector projects. She holds an MA in International Relations from Lviv Ivan Franko National University and has been a fellow of the Prague Civil Society Centre (2018), the Polish-American Freedom Foundation (2019–2020) and the Ukrainian School of Political Studies (2025).
