Chiara Grigolo is an Associate Programme Officer at International IDEA, where she works on the European Union-funded WYDE | Women’s Leadership programme, supporting efforts to advance women’s political participation and leadership worldwide. Her work focuses on fostering inclusive democracy through social norms change, coordinating Young Women’s Empowerment Academies.

Prior to her current role, Chiara contributed to International IDEA’s partnership with the Swedish and Belgian Presidencies of the Council of the EU in the field of the EU external democracy action and enlargement.

Before joining International IDEA in 2022, she worked with the Secretariat of the European Parliament Delegation to the Conference on the Future of Europe, JEF Europe and ALDA – the European Association for Local Democracy.
